I have been active in the real estate industry for almost 25 years and over the course of my career I have been involved in residential real estate sales and have also specialized in land development and new construction. I began my career in real estate in 1985 at J R. Brode, Inc. Realtors. In 1997 I started my own enterprise – Capitol Builders, Inc. – a successful company that specialized in land development and new construction both on tracts that I personally developed as well as on custom homes on lots owned by my customers. I returned to what is now Brode & Brooks Realtors in 2009. I have an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ursinus College.
I lived in the Upper Perkiomen Valley from 1982 to 2000 and now live in nearby New Hanover Township. While living in the Valley, I was extremely active in the community. In 1991 I was elected to serve as a Borough Councilman on East Greenville’s Borough Council and served in that capacity until 1998. As chairman of the Property Committee, I was intimately involved in the Borough’s acquisition of their new Borough Building on Main Street. I was an original member and chairman of the East Greenville Main Street 2000 Committee which was tasked with developing plans for the revitalization of East Greenville’s business district. I was also an original member and chairman of the Borough’s Open Space Committee and was involved in the acquisition of the Blaker Drive Community Park. During my term on Borough Council I served as the Borough’s representative to the Upper Perkiomen Police Commission.
I am happy to be back in the Upper Perkiomen Valley and look forward to serving my customers both past and future.
